Sidewalk Chalk Project

Creating uplifting messages for walkers, runners, bikers, boarders...anyone passing by!

This started out as project to chalk positive sayings, messages and quotes on sidewalks in my town. Everyday since Memorial Day 2011, I have added at least one sidewalk in various cities and towns in Northern Michigan. There have been at least 25 towns, 6 different states have chalked in and even one from Germany!. So if you feel so moved, add one in your town and post it here! xoxo

Creating posters of positivity, using photos of some of the 600+ sidewalks I have chalked over the last year

Over the last year I have been leaving positive messages written in chalk on the sidewalks throughout Michigan (and a few other states). This project is about creating photo collage posters suitable for framing from some of the 600+ sidewalk photos.

If the project is successfully funded, backers will receive contact information and instructions on how they can submit their choice of sidewalks (based on amount of backing) from the available photos. I will use these photos to create the collage poster!
